News of the week
CIPFA and the IASAB
Guidance
CIPFA is working with
the other standard setters through the IASAB board to put out
guidance to internal auditors in the public sector on managing
the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on internal audit in
accordance with PSIAS. We hope that the guidance will be
confirmed soon and will publicise it as soon as possible.
The IASAB is also
planning an information sheet to point internal auditors to any
useful resources available.
We are interested to
hear from practitioners on the impact on internal audit and if
there is any specific area of guidance or support you would like
either CIPFA or IASAB to deliver. Please get in touch with Diana
Melville
