Salary: 58k-64k (dependent on experience)
Contract length: 12 month FTC

We are recruiting for a finance manager role in our parking finance team that will be responsible for leading on tasks and responsibilities that make up the Parking finance operation.
Parking within London is changing and becoming a key driver in helping change the culture of drivers and car ownership to reduce the impacts of traffic on the climate. The council has declared a climate emergency and aims to be zero carbon by 2030.
The Parking finance team will help provide information and support to achieve this transformational change.
The role will focus on carrying out financial, management, and strategic duties relating to all areas of Parking Finance including;
- Contracts Monitoring
- Data Analytics, Power BI & Tableau reporting
- Management of 3 finance & debt officers
- Working with the Head of Finance on all corporate reporting
- Working with individual Parking services on various projects from a finance perspective
- Assist the Head of Finance in setting long term strategic financial goals
- To lead on CRMs, closing, and the estimates process
To support the application, it would be desirable for candidates to have:
- At least two years’ experience of working in Local Authority Finance, Parking experience preferred.
- CCAB qualified accountant or qualified Accounting Technician with significant relevant experience.
- Advanced data analytics skills focusing on Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- Experience in contract monitoring and the setting up of performance indicators

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to maintain high levels of motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively within a team and adopt a collaborative working ethos
