The CIPFA Diploma in Contract Management is completed over approximately nine months, including eight days of classroom learning and approximately 80 hours of additional work to complete the assessment requirements.
For this course, the classroom learning is delivered online via virtual classrooms. You will be provided a link to join each workshop online. Our trainer will be there to greet you and the other delegates, and we aim to deliver just as we would if everyone was together in a physical training room. For best results we recommend the use of webcams.
Your trainers will be available throughout the programme to provide support, you will have access to recordings of all module presentations and we will arrange online group clinic sessions during the course.
This qualification carries 136 CPD hours.
Shirley is a procurement professional with over 20 years of experience in a succession of senior purchasing roles for blue chip organisations as well as the public sector to develop professional purchasing teams who improve bottom line performance and service levels from their supply chains. She has worked with a number of public and private sector clients to develop and deliver their procurement strategies as well as delivering training programmes to establish good practice procurement within large, devolved organisations.
She has developed and delivered CIPFA's contract management training programme, a seven-module programme, giving contract managers the necessary skills, tools and techniques to establish good practice within their organisations. Shirley also delivered a comprehensive training programme for a major financial organisation which supports all levels of the procurement team and sought to identify and capitalise on all opportunities to optimise their management of the supply chain.
