CIPFA North West is divided into two areas by the River Mersey - the Northern Section covers Cumbria, Lancashire, parts of Manchester and north Merseyside, while the Southern Section includes Cheshire, parts of Manchester and south Merseyside.
The North West local groups provide services to each local area. They promote the institute in their locality and provide a series of events which are designed to meet the objectives of the main society, and meet the CPD requirements of members and training needs of students. We are always interested in hearing from members and students who might like to join the executive in their area!
If you want to be kept informed of events being held in your area, or if you'd like to suggest a theme, speaker or venue, or you would like to join an executive yourself, then contact the relevant area representatives.
A reminder for anyone who may need support CIPFA's Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub is available to you and anyone in your personal or workplace networks. The hub brings together information and support on a wide range of topics. Access is free of charge, anonymous and there's no need to register.
