FRED 2 is a diagnostic tool to help the assessment of an organisation’s awareness of fraud risk and defences against fraud
It covers seven critical areas, each covered by a series of questions to which the user should be able to reach a fairly short conclusion. It provides for the recording of evidence to support the conclusion against each question. This enables FRED to be updated and refreshed over time.
The results of the assessment are displayed using a traffic light approach to highlight the key areas for improvement.
