The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) announces new additions to its leadership team. Ruth Brockbank as Finance Director and Graham Jones as Interim Head of People and Culture.
Ruth brings significant finance leadership experience to CIPFA, including roles as CFO of the London Transport Museum. She spent five years at the National Audit Office, working on public sector audits and value for money studies across HM Treasury, the United Nations, and DCMS charities. A Cambridge Economics graduate specialising in public and development economics, Ruth’s expertise in public sector finance and leadership closely aligns with CIPFA’s mission to deliver excellence in public financial management.
Graham joins CIPFA with extensive experience in leading organisational change and HR transformation. He has worked at Board level across sectors including not-for-profit, financial services, and property, delivering projects in M&A, leadership development, and culture change. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Graham’s expertise in shaping dynamic, people-focused organisations make him a valuable addition to CIPFA.
