Public Finance Live Scotland Awards 2025

CIPFA Scotland's Public Finance Awards recognise the people and services that demonstrate excellence and originality within the Scotland’s public finance sector.

The 2025 awards ceremony was held during the dinner on 2 September, in the Grand Hall, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. The awards reward public finance professionals at every level across all organisations in Scotland. They are aimed at those starting out in their career, to those innovating and leading the profession and provide an opportunity to celebrate success within the sector.

Future leader of the year (new for 2025)

This award recognises an individual in public finance and/or governance who can demonstrate that they have made an outstanding contribution early on in their career. This award acknowledges the achievements of the individual in delivering excellence and clear benefits in their own organisation, one or more other organisations in Scotland, or to the public finance profession, through working together efficiently and effectively.
