About the training
Microsoft Excel is the world's most popular spreadsheet software. When efficiently applied it is a powerful tool, allowing you to manipulate vast amounts of data, automate tasks and present complex information in a myriad of ways.
In this course, we build on the skills learned in the beginners' and intermediate Excel courses.
The course will help you:
- Learn to use the NEW Dynamic Array functions.
- Create advanced and flexible lookup formulas.
- Use statistical functions to rank data and calculate the MEDIAN and MODE.
- Produce accurate results when working with financial data using math functions.
- Create variables and functions with LET and LAMBDA.

How is the programme taught?
The course is 10 hours, with individual video lessons and exercises. It includes downloadable course files and exercise files, so you can follow along with the instructor and then practice what you have learned at the end of each section. It is accessible via any internet-enabled device and enables you to progress through the topic areas at your own pace.

Learning outcomes
This course teaches you to use six brand-new dynamic array functions. After that, we move on to how to build advanced Excel formulas, analyse data using advanced Pivot Table skills, create macros to automate tasks, import, and clean data with Power Query, forecast data, and more!
This advanced Excel course also covers some of the new functions introduced to Excel 2021, including LET and LAMBDA. These exciting functions allow students to create variables and even their own Excel functions.
You will be able to apply these skills to your work to deliver more in-depth analyses and become more efficient in your spreadsheet use.
Pre-requisites
You will need a PC or Mac with a full version of Microsoft Excel (any version from 2003 to 2013 or Microsoft 365).
