The formerly separate support arrangements for the health and adult social care sections of CIPFA’s TISonline website are coming together to enhance the emphasis on the emerging integration agenda. We would particularly welcome finance staff in health, and those with an interest in the cross-over with social care to join our editorial board. It’s a good chance for new people to get involved in CIPFA’s production of core good practice guidance ‘by practitioners, for practitioners’.
Our users consist principally of financial managers and directors, accountants and auditors working throughout the public sector. Over 650 organisations hold a subscription to TISonline, and most of the content is written and updated by editorial boards made up of practitioners who draw on their personal experience and expertise.
In joining the editorial board for adult social care, health and integration, you become involved in the latest thinking through two to three editorial boards per year (with free lunch and travel to CIPFA’s London office) and through electronic discussion of draft content. It’s an excellent way to keep up to date, build useful networks and tick those CPD boxes – all while contributing to the common good.
