CIPFA North East covers an area stretching from Tees Valley up to Berwick-upon-Tweed, the northernmost town in England.
CIPFA North East aims to support members and students across the whole of the North East from Tees Valley up to Berwick-upon-Tweed, and provides a link between CIPFA national and local activities.
The North East is an exciting and active region, we provide a range of low cost (free where possible) events across the region, which address a variety of current hot topics within the public sector to help members and students in both their professional and personal development. These include a range of online webinars and face to face meetings, including the CIPFA NE Conference, Annual Dinner and Women in Finance events.
We have a great group of volunteers committed to supporting the region, and are always looking to grow our volunteer base to help provide the best experience possible for our North East members. If you would like to get involved with the region, or have any suggestions on how we could enhance your membership further, please feel free to get in touch by emailing regions@cipfa.org.
A reminder for anyone who may need support CIPFA's Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub is available to you and anyone in your personal or workplace networks. The hub brings together information and support on a wide range of topics. Access is free of charge, anonymous and there's no need to register.
