Valuation of highways assets
CIPFA is currently organizing a Task and Finish group to resolve the problem with highway authority accounts due to the treatment of the highway asset. We will be issuing an urgent consultation on draft guidance mid-May 2022. Colleagues from the Highways Asset Management Financial Information Group are also working on updating existing valuation toolkits.
