In the unlikely event of non-receipt of confirmation, this will not be accepted as grounds for cancellation or non-payment.

2.2 Attendance

It is your responsibility to ensure that you attend all of the modules in the cohort you have signed up for, and complete all modules, project and portfolio with the timescales advised at the launch. CIPFA will not be held responsible if you are unable to complete all aspects of the certificated course within the cohort timescale.

Any additional one to one or personal tuition may result in additional fee's which will be advised in advance of the tuition taking place.

2.3 Transfer

Transfer to a future cohort will incur a deferment fee of approximately £200 plus VAT and will be dependent upon both availability, viability and course costs. CIPFA cannot guarantee future delivery of any course.

Dependent on availability, provision may be made for delegates to attend module(s) at another UK CIPFA Centre. In this case a nominal fee will be payable to cover incurred expenditure such as delegate venue costs. All additional expenses relating to attendance at another location will be your responsibility.

2.4 Course materials

All course materials will be emailed one week prior to the delivery of the module. It is the responsibility of the candidate to print any course materials in advance of the module and to bring with them on the day. CIPFA will not provide any additional copies on the day. CIPFA will not be responsible for incorrect email addresses and candidates must ensure that they provide the correct email address when submitting their booking form for attendance on the certificate.

2.5 Payment

If sending payment prior to the event, please state if you require a VAT receipt. Cheques should be made payable to CIPFA and sent to the office address stated below.

All cancellations must be sent to the named contact of the Regional office by email or in writing to the office address stated below. Substitution may be advised within the 4 week period prior to the first module at no extra charge. Substitutions will not be accepted after the first module has been completed.
