Introduction to the JCT 2024 Suite of Contracts for Public Sector Practitioners

The JCT 2024 update is being hailed as significant because it introduces many of the emerging issues in the UK construction industry, (Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021). There are also notable inclusion of clauses relating to sustainable development, environmental considerations and notification and negotiation of disputes. This event will help you grasp the practical implications of the current JCT contract version as well as the changes in a public sector context.

This event will be of interest to anyone (procurement, legal, estates, highways, quantity surveyors, contract administrators, architects, building surveyor’s and project managers) who want to develop a better understanding of how the JCT suite of contracts work; including how to effectively administer the contract and avoid disputes or effectively manage those that arise.
