The Midlands is a fast-growing, vibrant and active region. We aim to support our members and students through a range of interesting and innovative seminars, training, mentoring, newsletters, and personal and career development.
To support our regional offering, we work with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), audit firms and our regional networks to ensure we provide a wide and interesting range of support to our existing members and to attract non-CIPFA delegates to their events.
The pace of change in the public sector continues to intensify, and we have a great group of volunteers committed to supporting the region to keep abreast of this. Our ever-successful sixth form management games continue to attract volunteers with renewed enthusiasm and engagement!

Sixth form management games and Mentoring
Each summer, we provide a stimulating and fun environment for post-16 students (years 12 and 13) to sample the scope, complexity and impact of financial management in the public sector. Find out more about the 2024 sixth form games.
The CIPFA Midlands Mentoring Programme is open to all members looking to give something back, or who are looking for support as they progress their career.
