Managing Insurance Fraud and Cyber Crime Insurance Risks

23-07-2018

CIPFA Insurance Network held a new workshop focusing on the growing fraud and cyber-crime risks affecting public bodies.

According to recent reports, insurance fraud is continuing to rise, with the value and number of cases increasing annually, and public bodies face an average of 19.5 million cyber-attacks every year, which makes it critical that organisations understand the risks and take proper precautions. Speakers shared their case studies and helped develop practical strategies for identifying and managing fraud as part of the insurance claim’s process.
