This is an exciting time to join our finance team at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Under new leadership, we are looking to build a world-class finance team to support all our services navigate the challenging financial environment in which local authorities operate. With the lowest Council Tax of any unitary authority outside of London we have a record of delivering efficiently. However, we cannot stand still and strengthening the finance team so that is fit to meet future demands is a priority.
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The key is to maintain good relationships with Elected Members, Executive Directors and Assistant Directors, but also your team. You’ll be there to support more junior colleagues so they can learn and gain qualifications.
This is a chance to be a contributing member of the management team and the “go to” person for finance. To join us, you’ll must be a CCAB Fully Qualified Professional Accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA), who’s committed to learning and Continuous Professional Department.
