Are you a qualified accountant with a depth and breadth of local government experience who would relish an opportunity to lead the finance function and shape our organisation? If you are ready to be deputy s151 Officer, work across boundaries to tackle financial challenges and ensure our substantial capital programme is sustainable, then this is your opportunity.
This new role will take on leadership of our finance teams - Accountancy, Creditors, Debtors and Systems Administration as well as the Revenues and Benefits Service alongside the client role for our shared Procurement service. You will report to the Deputy Chief Executive (s151) and work closely with Digital, Customer Services, Housing, Assets/Facilities and Corporate Development Teams to enable the delivery of our Council Plan.
