The CIPFA CFO Leadership Academy is aimed at serving and aspiring CFOs across the public sector who want to strengthen their personal impact and leadership skills.

About this event
The CIPFA CFO Leadership Academy is completed over approximately six months. This includes three one-day workshops and five one-day, facilitated action learning meetings.
Course dates
The course consists of three workshops and five action learning groups. The delegates are split into two action learning groups at the first workshop, Group A and Group B. You are only required to attend the dates for your confirmed group.

Bursary details
Thanks to UK Government funding, a limited number of bursaries are available for individuals from eligible organisations. Bursaries will cover 50% of the price and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Eligibility:
- Delegates must be employed in England by a best value authority as defined by Part 1 of the Local Government Act 1999.
- Delegates must complete an application form in which they confirm that without the bursary, they would not be able to attend the training due to prevailing financial constraints at their place of work. Evidence or third party confirmation may be requested.

Speaker - Brendan McCarron, Senior Consultant, CIPFA
Brendan is a senior leadership and professional consultant for CIPFA consultancy and training. He leads CIPFA’s CFO Leadership Academy in the UK and for the government of Canada.
