About this event

Having reviewed well over a hundred public authorities over the last decade it is clear that there is no one single structure that works for everyone, however there are key components that need to be in place to be effective.

Our next series of Strategic Assets events will discuss the area of governance. We’ll look at how this area developed during the early 2000’s and how it possibly has changed over the last ten years. We will look at structures, roles and responsibilities as well as discussing the benefit of corporate property groups, who should be on them and possible terms of reference. We will then have an open discussion with attendees having the opportunity to ask questions of each other on how their own organisations are structured and what works well (or not so well) for them. As usual the morning will start with our essential Strategic Update. A ‘must attend session’ which will explore emerging policy, potential legislation, and news from around the UK which impacts on the strategic management of property assets.

Anyone involved either directly or indirectly in strategic asset management. This might include strategic delivery managers, strategic property managers and asset managers, strategic finance managers, corporate policy and performance managers, and anyone involved in the effective governance of property assets.
