In recent years the pension fund accounts have reached a high standard driven by increased scrutiny and the support of the CIPFA Example Accounts. For 2018/19 we have new version of the Example Accounts for practitioners to digest, and for the first time since 2014 a new version of the Annual Report Guidance which has incorporated the recent work on post pooling reporting.
Naturally this will lead to a discussion on the work of external audit, and we will hear our usual feedback on the 2017/18 audits and what the key issues will be for 2018/19. We will also have the regular 'Ask the Auditor' session involving a number of the leading firms who will discuss current issues and answer your technical questions.
We aimed to make these sessions as relevant and informative as possible and ensure that all delegates had the opportunity to raise queries and share experiences in a friendly and informal setting.
