Rethinking Policing Services

15-07-2015

Following the General Election, these events focused on financial resilience and transformation of services. At each event, a representative of the National Audit Office spoke on their report on financial sustainability of police forces in England and Wales, which was published earlier in June. We also focused on the transformational approaches being taken by police forces, PCCs and partners as we prepare to approach the challenges of the next Spending Review. We also had our usual environmental update on the latest in the world of policing.

Our speakers included:

  • Louise Bladen and Lee-Anne Murray from the Home Affairs Directorate of the National Audit Office
  • ACO Gary Ridley from Durham Constabulary
  • Matthew Grainger and Luke Vaughan from West Yorkshire Police
  • David Wilkin, Director of Resources for West Midlands Police
  • Ralph Butler, Head of Transformation for the PCC for Staffordshire.
