These workshops provided the first opportunity to look at CIPFA’s recently published From Cost To Price: The Practitioner's Guide to Commissioning Sustainable Care. This guide seeks to provide additional support to commissioners as they work together with providers to respond to increasing demands and new cost pressures such as the National Living Wage – in a still very constrained financial context.
This series offered an opportunity to look in-depth at this guidance and its application to the commissioning of the £16bn Adult Social Care Market and the £4bn Children’s Services Market.
