The Valuation Agency has produced an updated report, Billing Authority Submissions Standards, on how billing authorities can assist the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) in updating rating lists and the information they need to provide.
This guide sets out the information that billing authorities need to submit with a report to the VOA. The submissions standards are to enable the VOA and billing authorities to work more effectively together in maintaining the local taxation lists. It also aligns with the government’s ‘tell us once ’ policy as taxpayers will only provide information once.
