Over 19 million households have received their council tax rebate

99% of eligible households have received the £150 council tax rebate, and on 31 October 2022, the government announced that it is extending the deadline for claims to ensure as many eligible households as possible receive the grant. On the same day, DLUHC wrote to local authorities to confirm the details and the new deadline of 30 November.
