The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has published the requirements for the Quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates (QRC) form, to be completed by local authorities, along with accompanying guidance notes.
In all there are five documents;
1) QRC4: quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates 2018 to 2019 - letter to local authorities
2) QRC4: quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates 2018 to 2019 - validation notes
3) QRC4: quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates 2018 to 2019 – guidance notes
4) QRC4: quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates 2018 to 2019 – bulk upload guidance notes
5) QRC4: quarterly return of Council Taxes and non-domestic rates 2018 to 2019 – data preparation template
To be completed and returned to DELTA by Friday 10 May 2019, the QRC4 asks for information about the receipts of council taxes and non-domestic rates in the period 1 January 2019 to 31 March 2019. The information required is used in the local authority components of the National Accounts compiled by the Office of National Statistics.
