Health and Safety Executive survey

posted on 07 July 2016, updated on 07 July 2016

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is exploring ways to address the issues influencing local authority  delivery of health and safety regulatory services and its boundary/connection to HSE’s activities. The HSE  wants to ensure that local authorities have access to sufficient levels of regulatory competency to effectively deliver health and safety regulation.

The survey (see link below) allows you to tell the HSE how well the regulations and the boundaries between HSE and local authorities are working and what, if any, practical issues you have encountered. The results of the survey will be used to help determine if there are options for legislative change which should be further explored. If options for legislative changes are proposed a further formal consultation will be undertaken.
