An interim finding report commissioned by the Welsh Government that provides an overview of the impact of COVID-19 on the Council Tax Reduction Scheme in Wales has been published.
It was commissioned to provide the Welsh Government with a clearer understand of how the Council Tax Reduction Scheme (CTRS) caseload and the value of Council Tax Reduction (CTR) awards have altered since the start of the pandemic and the impact on council tax arrears in Wales.
The Welsh Government also wishes to understand the likely change to CTR scheme caseload, projected change in the value of CTRS awards and projected impact on council tax arrears in Wales for the beginning of the 2021 financial year.
