The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government has published their latest
Council Tax base statistics, which provides data relating to the stock of domestic dwellings in local authority areas in England.
The total number of dwellings is based on the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) Valuation List snapshot as at 9 September 2019. The release provides summary totals at an England level of the number of dwellings, the number of dwellings that are exempt from council tax, and the number liable for council tax. For those dwellings liable for council tax, it also gives summary figures for the number that are receiving different types of council tax discounts and those paying a premium.
The Welsh Government has yet to publish its latest figures.
