Published by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the below letter provides details of the regulations laid on 11 February — The Council Tax (Demand Notices and Reduction Schemes) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 — which came into force on 12 February 2022.
These regulations include the wording required on council tax demand notices to reflect the council tax energy rebate, as well as how the rebate should be treated in local council tax support schemes from 1 April 2022.
