London Counter Fraud Hub

CIPFA launches the London Counter Fraud Hub, which is a counter fraud service supplying data analytics, investigations and a recoveries service for the 32 London local authorities and the City of London Corporation.

Unlike traditional data matching hubs, this is an end-to-end service providing expert advice and operational support around sophisticated analytics.

Staffed by qualified counter fraud specialists, CIPFA’s overarching objectives for the service are to increase fraud and corruption detection, improve fraud prevention, share common risks across London, minimise losses and maximise recovery so that fraud and corruption do not pay.
