The Welsh government are also consulting on the removal of eligible care leavers from joint and several liability for council tax and a proposal to amend legislation to remove this liability. Care leavers are liable for the payment of council tax where another person in the household who is not exempt fails to pay.
Comment on the consultation document can be presented online and should be submitted by 12 November 2021.
